SPEED LIMIT IN ALL PARKING LOTS IS 5 MPH
The speed limit is 5 MPH in all parking lots - residents and visitors are reminded
to slow down while driving through the property. We have had several incidences
in which animals have been hit and killed, and several near misses in which residents
have very nearly being hit by speeding drivers.
FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY - - - PLEASE SLOW DOWN.
REMINDERS
Grilling: GRILLING, BBQ, AND OTHER OPEN-FLAME COOKING IS NOT
ALLOWED ON PATIOS, BALCONIES, SIDEWALKS, OR NEAR ANY STRUCTURE,
TREE, SHRUBBERY OR LANDSCAPING. City of Houston Fire Code prohibits grilling
within 10 feet of any roof, combustible wall, or any other combustible material. Violators
are subject to fines starting at $250.
NO GLASS IS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA: If glass is broken in the pool,
the pool must be drained, cleaned, and re-filled (by State law). Please help us avoid
any problems in this area by using plastic, paper, metal, or styrofoam containers
at the pool.
Pool Umbrellas: After use of pool umbrellas, please carefully lower them to the
closed position to prevent damage to pool furniture and other common property.
Pool Usage: Pool is for the use of owners and residents only and their
authorized guests. Guest must be accompanied by the owner or resident. No
children are allowed at the pool without being accompanied by an adult owner or
resident.
Leash and Clean Up after your Pet: Dogs must be on-leash at all times and
cleaning up after your pet is mandatory; violation is subject to $50 fine.
Trash Pickup Schedule: Trash pickup is Monday, Wednesday and Friday
(excluding Holidays).

PROJECT UPDATES:
East parking lot drainage is being assessed for any necessary actions.
Various sidewalk, gutter, and fence repairs are on-going.
Trimming of common area trees is being completed.
AT&T has been selected as the bulk cable provider and contracts are being reviewed for
replacement of Comcast.
Various Chimney repairs have been completed.
Options for sidewalk/paver repair for walk area outside interior walk gate 2 are being considered
by the Board.
PROJECTS UNDER CONSIDERATION:
Cleaning and repair or replacement of certain carports is being considered.
Repair of various buildings mansard shingles, gutters, and painting are being obtained.
Quote for regularly scheduled monthly gutter cleaning is being obtained.
On-site recycling collection and lifting option is being considered.
Speed-humps are being considered for the Peden, Haddon, and McDuffie parking lot driveways.
In spite of the posted speed limit signs, many residents and/or guest are ignoring the limit and are
speeding through our driveways, putting other residents, their guests, and their animals at risk.
